Miss Grand International is one of the world’s leading international beauty pageants. The aim of Miss Grand International is to participating in creating peace, stopping war and betterment of humanity.  The ideal objective of Miss Grand International is to end all forms of violence and hostility. Spreading message in this ways is totally different. The logo of the pageant indicates that the lady facing straight means she is ready to move forward to complete her duties and advocacy for bringing peace following the concept “Stop the War and Violence”. Head Quarters of Miss Grand International is at Wang Thong Lang, Bangkok Thailand.

This year more than 75 contestants around the world participated in the Miss Grand International 2017 contest which was held in Phu Quoc, in Vietnam at Vinpearl Resort & Villas on 25th October 2017. Miss Grand Peru Maria Jose Lora was crowned as Miss Grand International 2017. Maria was crowned by Ariska Pertiwi of Indonesia, who was last year title holder of Miss Grand International.
